[Release] RAW SERIES: Sounds of The JP8000 Sample Pack

Overview:

Within this pack, we have tweaked and recorded every preset of the JP8000 and lovingly processed nearly 400 individual sounds to make sure they are consistent and unique. This included running them through some amazing analogue emulation VSTs to bring out the warmth and flavour of this retro synthesiser.

Once every sound had been individually exported to 48kHz/24bit samples and categorised into their respective folders, we then then converted a copy to 44kHz/16bit so we could then start to build all the MPC .pgm files so that they were ready to used straight away.

How to use:

We recorded all the samples 1 octave above their usual frequency range and made sure they were usable still at that length. We did this so now you can pitch down the samples 12 steps and you will get that slightly aliasing, crunchy Lofi sound. We have tested these on our own MPC 2500 and they sound amazing, warm and unique.

So, to break it down:

48kHz/24bit samples: Use in DAW or sampler that is compatible.

⁃ 44kHz/16bit samples:

⁃ Drag JP8K MPC folder into your MPC (should be compatible with MPC 500, 1000,2500,5000).

⁃ Locate the folder of sound you want to use and load the .pgm file.

⁃ Enjoy the sounds! (pitch down if you need the sound to be an octave lower.)

Happy music making <3
