Fade To Funk is proud to bring you our first compilation series 'Remixology'. We are a big believer of creating great original music but the art of remixing is definitely something that can turn a great track into something magical.
Remixology is something we think have achieved in our first volume. A hand picked bunch of amazing rising stars in their own right, coming together to create something magical.
First up is Igor Gonya's remix of TapeOut's 'All is One' is a low slung, raw deep house groover that features additional vocal cuts with the original hooks. Perfect for those warm up summer sessions. Having previous success with his latest EP on Fade To Funk, we're sure this track will share a similar fate.
Next is P-Mayer's remix of The Disciple's 'Temptation'. His previous releases have graced labels such as UM Records & Delve Deeper and we're glad to have him aboard. P-Mayer puts his signature stamp all over this track which is dark, dreamy and full of groove. The sort of track that wouldn't be out of place in one of Berlin's many backstreet nightspots.
Icelandic Producer and DJ, Intr0beatz takes on Spok Da Rok's 'We Dance'. Flying high with releases on Lay-Far's In-Beat-Ween Music and Shur-i-kan / Milton Jackson's Dark Energy Recordings, this man certainly doesn't disappoint. Full of shuffling tops and sub filled bass, this track is extremely versatile and able to satisfy ravers throughout the night.
Lastly we have Sub_Urban boss, Jus Tadi piece together a brilliant remix of Jeff Fader's 'Groove Factor 5'. The original flow is kept but has been embellished perfectly. The bassline is catchy and the extra high end percussion keeps the energy levels high, making it perfect for those peak time moments.
We hope you enjoy these as much as we do!
Peace x
