Fade To Funk is back, introducing Faebop - the pulsating spirit continuing the legacy of deep house maestro and director of Fade To Funk, Jeff Fader. With this new progression comes a new way of performing and writing but still maintaining that high quality deep house sound they're known for.
'Fresh Start' EP is the first offering from this proudly autistic, non binary artist. Ocean sized atmospherics fill all 3 tracks but still offering plenty of hard hitting rhythms to keep you dancing.
First track 'For Sure' steps up to the plate and shows just where Faebop's dancefloor roots lay. Tough 909 drums and a thick 303 bassline drive the track with assertiveness and authority. The deep pads lay the basis and mood of the track while the washed out stabs keep your body jackin' with the beat.
Next up is 'Blahaj' a track deeper than a blackhole, unable to escape from it's hypnotic, alluring rhythms. A nod to one of Faebop's biggest musical influences and the LGBTQIA+ community, Blahaj is the perfect warm up track for any dancefloor.
Lastly, 'Sage Suggestions' a uniquely structured and composed track. a place for Faebop to explore sonic possibilities both in the studio and the dancefloor.
